A Big Christmas thank you to Muriel’s for a fantastic Saturday night, the service was second to none , especially Eddie the wee barperson who nothing he was asked was to much trouble. So a special thank you to him. Overall it was a great night and I’d definitely recommend Muriel’s to anyone .
Lovely cocktails (recommend the espresso martini), and a very cool bar in general. Love the vibe, and the 2000/2010s playlist they had playing is class. New favourite bar in Belfast!
An absolute gem of a place . We did an impromptu trip up from Dublin to see a band we love and saw last night at the Olympia, remembered here from a previous visit and so pleased we did. Amazing decor, fantastic cocktails - although don't see why you have loads staff swanning about and not taking drinks orders, that's annoying. Food was fine, bit cool, tasty. But for drinks and atmosphere and general all round fabulousness, this can't be beaten.
The Bar itself is a 1920s style cocktail lounge and feels like a nice place to escape the world, some of the touches feel a little unnecessary like the underwear hanging from the ceiling but I found the upstairs very snug. Food is from the next door restaurant, American style, which comes to you like takeaway orders. I liked the casual aspect but again, slightly at odds with the decor. Overall a nice place to hide away from the rain and casual enough to use it as a first date spot.
A personal favourite for me and my other half, nice relaxed atmosphere, good vibes and lovely cocktails.
Loved this place, people are just so friendly, fantastic atmosphere and history. Choice of drinks and suggestions from the staff was superb. Thanks all
Indoor/ outdoor seating. It's on a road, so not as calming as the main square. The inside is lovely. There's facilities but no toilet seats. The staff are really lovely and welcoming and the menu is vaste, personally as a vegetarian I love the blue cheese sauce with grilled eggs and vegetables, for meat eater there is a piggy platter. Which they also make as a sharer. There's also some ice creams and desserts on order the fruit cheese cakes looks amazing. And plenty of great sights on the road that Marie's is based on, worth a visit.
Great venue for a private party. Partitioned off for Privacy, whilst still providing access to the main bar.
